However, there are many remote islands around Okinawa, so what is the best recommended? I'm worried about it. For such people, this time the editorial department asked 100 people living in Okinawa, "Where is your favorite island in Okinawa?" We conducted a questionnaire! Which is the island chosen from among many remote islands?

[1] Miyako Island

The white beaches that are named to the best beaches in Japan every time, and the vast coral reefs are beautiful that do not disappoint expectations. The starry sky and hot springs in winter, and the melting taste of the island's specialty in early summer, the charm of Miyako Island mango is unmissable.

Higashihennazaki, one of the most famous places in Miyako Island. You can feel the magnificence of the scenery from the lighthouse at the tip of the cape.

[2nd] Ishigaki-jima Island

The main island of Yaeyama Islands. You can enjoy the great nature of the sea Yamaichi body by being drunk by the beauty of Kawahira Bay, which has been selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Scenic Spots, or by trekking at the highest mountain in Okinawa, Omotodake (Omoto alone). For gourmet food, please enjoy Ishigaki beef and a wonderful island cafe.

Kawahira Bay has been selected as one of the Michelin Guide's three-star tourist spots. You can peek into the sea shining in the mint green with a glass boat.

"Tamadorizaki Observation Deck" is located at the base of the Hirakubo Peninsula extending north. A superb view point overlooking the south and north of the island, the East China Sea and the Pacific Ocean.

[3] Zamami Island

One of the Kerama Islands designated as a national park in March 2014. Tropical fish with colorful colors are flocked in the sea of this island, famous as "Kerama Blue". It is an island where marine sports are thriving as well as diving. You can't miss the winter-only whale watching too.

[4th] Kumejima

"Healing Island" close to Naha. Hatenohama, an uninhabited island made of only white sand, is fascinated by the view of only white and blue that does not disappoint expectations. At night, the island full of nature where Milky Way and fireflies shine. Baade House, which uses deep ocean water, is also popular.

[5th] Tokashiki Island
