The Shuri Castle Festival, held every year in early November, offers traditional culture and performing arts that have continued since the Kingdom of ryukyu era. From 2021, until 2026, when the main hall is completed, the event name has been changed from "Shuri Castle Tsai" to "Shuri Castle Reconstruction Festival" in order to further enhance the momentum for reconstruction.

In the "Old Procession" held on November 3, during the Kingdom of ryukyu era, the King visited three temples under Shuri Castle to pray for the nation's well-being and rich harvest.
