Tatsuya Uchi was born on July 13, 1985. He joined Chiba Lotte Marines in 2003 from Kawasaki Institute of Technology in 1st draft. In 2010, he contributed greatly to Japan's No. 1 relief for the first time in five years. With 26 saves, the total score was 308 games, 20 wins, 12 losses, 56 saves, 3.33.
He experienced nine surgery in 17 years, and decided to retire in January 2021. Even after retiring from active duty, he has continued to be involved in the baseball world, and now he has set up his own company, and in parallel with media event appearances and running Youtube, he is also involved in teaching backwards, etc. He also teaches baseball at elementary and junior high schools.
